At TAISM High School, student support is personalized, collaborative, and designed to help every learner thrive. Our teachers, counselors, learning support specialists, and administrators work closely with students and families to create individualized pathways for success. Flexible academic routes aligned with each student’s strengths, needs, interests, and post-secondary goals. This may include course planning, modified pathways, and transition support.
Integrated Learning Support:
Individualized support for organization, executive functioning, social skills, study skills, time management, and academic growth, delivered through collaboration between teachers and support staff.
English as an Additional Language (EAL):
Targeted language development that enables multilingual learners to fully access a rigorous college-preparatory curriculum and participate confidently in school life.
Counseling Services:
The high school counselors support students’ social, emotional, and developmental needs through a combination of responsive services and proactive guidance, working in partnership with parents, teachers, and community service providers. This includes individual meetings, small-group support, and classroom lessons that center on four domains: social-emotional, academic, global perspective & identity development and career.
Speech and Language Services:
Our Speech-Language Pathologist provides support for students with communication needs, including speech, language, and social communication. Services may include individual or small-group sessions, as well as collaboration with teachers to support students’ communication within the classroom setting.
Support for External Exams:
Support for external exam accommodations (College Board assessments such as SAT, PSAT and AP Exams) including documentation, applications, coordination, and testing accommodations aligned with approved learning plans
