About TAISM

Visual & Performing Arts

Our commitment to education transcends traditional academics. At TAISM, performing arts are integrated into our curriculum through classes and after-school activities.

Cultivating Creativity

TAISM has a long-standing commitment to a holistic education, which includes fostering creativity and artistic abilities. Performing arts classes are integrated into our curriculum at all grade levels, and after-school activities are available for students who wish to cultivate their capabilities even further.

The school's facilities are state-of-the-art and are very inviting. They provide a good education and opportunities to grow in non-academic areas, like music, the arts, drama, and sports.

Music

Music is a core part of TAISM’s culture. Beginning in Elementary School, our students experience a range of instruments and choir settings. Through music, students learn to collaborate and cultivate their skills both as an individual and an ensemble. In Middle and High School, our band program is inclusive of all ability levels, giving each student the chance to hone their skills and learn in a performing arts setting."

Drama

Students in grades 7-12 have the opportunity to take drama in their school day, where they learn vital speaking and presentation skills. In addition, they are exposed to fundamental principles of technical theater in our state-of-the-art Bosch Center. After-school productions are an extension of this learning process, where students collaborate and create to showcase their skills and hard work.

The Bosch Center

Since its inauguration in 2012, the Donald and Eloise Bosch Center for the Performing Arts has been the home of TAISM’s performing arts programs and presentations. In this 4,000 square meter facility, students perform in band and choir concerts, school plats, and more. This modern facility enriches our students’ lives and offers a venue to explore new opportunities, share their talents, and develop their artistic abilities.

Visual Arts

Visual arts are an essential part of a well-rounded education. Throughout TAISM, student artwork is displayed and celebrated, and all of our students, from EC through High School, experience the visual arts through a variety of mediums. Our students progress from the basics of painting and drawing to specialized High School courses in ceramics, printmaking, Visual Journals, and more.
