We know that choosing a school for your young child is not an easy decision, but at TAISM, we work to provide a safe and secure environment for all of our students. From CCTV to student health, we ensure that your child is protected as much as possible while on our campus.
Our CCTV system ensures that we have eyes and ears throughout the campus at all times, meaning that all entrances and exits are constantly monitored to keep your child safe. All school transportation also uses CCTV for security. All staff and faculty members undergo criminal background checks and an extensive screenings before they are eligible to be hired, and all staff and faculty, as well as parents and students, are trained in safety education.
Our nurses are on campus to monitor student health and keep your child safe. Children thrive with their learning when they feel healthy and strong, therefore, if your child has a fever, diarrhea, or upset stomach, we ask that you keep them home until they have been symptom-free for 24 hours.
TAISM offers a contracted bus service to selected areas of the Muscat Capital Area. Parents may drop off their children as well, but only with a valid TAISM parking permit.
Please note that our Pre Kindergarten (Early Childhood) students must be toilet trained, meaning at least three days in a row without an accident, in order to attend TAISM.
Each Pre-Kindergarten (Early Childhood) classroom has a professional teacher supported by trained classroom assistants who are there to help support learning in the classroom. Either the teacher or the assistant may be able to speak with you upon arrival or at dismissal. If you have specific questions about your child's learning, the teacher is available to meet with you by setting up an appointment at your convenience after school.
