TAISM’s Volleyball Teams by Mohamed, grade 12 student.

This September, TAISM’s volleyball teams showcased their skill, resilience, and competitive spirit on the court. From the very first serve of the season, our athletes brought great energy and focus, whether it’d be JV or Varsity, earning impressive wins throughout the entire season and only losing a few games. These victories showcased and highlighted the team’s hard work in practice, as well as their ability to stay calm and composed under pressure. One of the biggest highlights of the season came in their thrilling match against ABA, one of TAISM’s toughest rivals. The game not only tested the players’ endurance and teamwork, but also showed their determination to never back down against strong competition. The crowd’s energy matched the intensity of the match, and every serve, block, and spike was met with cheers that fueled the team’s momentum. The JV and varsity teams supported one another off and on the court, creating a true sense of family within the program. To get a closer, more in-depth perspective on the current volleyball sports teams, I decided to interview star varsity volleyball player Logan (grade 11), who reflected on what was currently happening and what is making the current volleyball situation so memorable: “We’ve grown so much as a team,” Logan shared. “Every practice pushed us to be sharper and more connected, and that really showed in our games. Logan and the rest of the volleyball team also mentioned that, “it’s not just about volleyball, it’s about friendships and supporting each other.” “That’s what's making this season so special.” Logan also emphasized what’s ahead and the excitement to play SAISA at TAISM. “We’re looking towards the competition and showing the other schools how much we’ve grown as a team throughout this season. Logan also emphasizes to everyone that everyone should come and support the varsity volleyball team and cheer them on to victory. Go Eagles!
