Photovoltaic energy at TAISM

TAISM now operates two photovoltaic farms on campus, taking advantage of Oman’s strong solar conditions to reduce reliance on fossil fuels. With the newest installation added in 2025, solar power now provides about 8.2 percent of the school’s electricity, supporting our commitment to sustainability and environmental awareness.

High School Mentors Inspire Middle School Athletes at TAISM

​​High School athletes at TAISM volunteer as coaches for Middle School sports, bringing energy, experience, and mentorship. Grade 11 student Isla shared her experience coaching the Middle School volleyball team, focusing on skill development, mindset, and team community. The Athletics Director notes that seeing older students lead with confidence and character creates a powerful mentorship loop, helping Middle School athletes grow both on and off the court.

TAISM Volleyball: A Strong Start to the Season

This September, TAISM’s JV and Varsity volleyball teams demonstrated skill, resilience, and teamwork, earning impressive wins and only a few losses. Highlights included a thrilling match against rival ABA, where players showed determination and composure under pressure. Beyond the court, the teams emphasized friendship and support, making this season memorable. Varsity player Logan (grade 11) shared that every practice strengthened the team and built lasting connections, and expressed excitement for the upcoming SAISA competition.

Inside the First Six Weeks at TAISM High School

The first six weeks at TAISM have been full of energy and learning. Classes are hands-on and challenging—from analyzing literature and speeches to exploring science and math concepts—while social studies blends creativity and debate. Seniors celebrated milestones like the traditional breakfast and retreat, and extracurriculars such as Model United Nations are thriving. The start of the year has been academically engaging, socially vibrant, and memorable.
