Think Professional Development on an international scale. At TAISM you have access to seminars, conferences, and workshops that are offered regionally and internationally, as well as online learning events - at no cost to our teachers and staff. Looking to sharpen your skills or earn an advanced degree? Our school offers you the opportunity to participate in certification events and take graduate-level courses. Many of TAISM’s staff members have enhanced their credentials by completing special certifications in American Education Reaches Out (AERO) standards, National Board Certifications - all aligned with their professional development goals.
Coming to work at TAISM was like taking a breath of fresh air, professionally speaking. Outside of the classroom, our time since moving here has been characterized by personal growth and adventure. We have discovered new hobbies such as rock climbing and paddle boarding. For people who enjoy time spent outdoors, Oman has so much to offer.
Teachers Teaching Teachers
What better way to celebrate the specialized skills and talents among us than sharing that knowledge in our TAISM community? A staff-developed initiative, Teachers Teaching Teachers (TTT) fosters meaningful connections with your colleagues by offering free classes, developed for TAISM teachers and staff by TAISM teachers and staff.
