The American International School of Muscat (TAISM) on Friday hosted a fun day for the Down Syndrome Parents Support Group (DSPSG).
As many as 150 people attended the annual event of the school. Zuwainia al Barwani, co-chairperson of DSPSG, was also present.Keya Lahiri, high school community service coordinator, TAISM said, “This is the fourth year that we have organised this event.“The school is associated with several community programmes and this is one of them. Our students are engaged in all the community programmes organised by us.”She said that the aim of this annual event is to spread awareness about the cause. “Parents and children took part in several events like magic shows and fun games.”
