In January 2024, TAISM hosted the NESA Educators Training Institute, drawing over 200 educators to focus on research-based instruction and assessment. Workshops covered topics like instructional coherence and next-generation assessment practices. As a member of NESA, TAISM values collaboration to improve student learning across North Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia.
Renowned author Nnedi Okorafor visited TAISM from October 8-12, engaging students in assemblies and class sessions. She shared personal stories, discussed her writing process, and read aloud her children's book. The U.S. embassy sponsored her visit, contributing to a collaborative effort to inspire both TAISM students and the broader Muscat community.

On June 1st, thirty-six grade 12 students from The American International School of Muscat (TAISM) made a proud walk across the Bosch Center for the Performing Arts stage and received their diplomas at the school's annual graduation ceremony.
TAISM hosted the AMIS International High School Choir Festival from 1-5 March. Students from 25 schools all around the world came to Oman to sing, learn, collaborate, and perform in a gala performance for members of the TAISM community and special guests.
