Elementary students in grades two through five have the opportunity to participate in the TAISM World Language Program. We offer four language choices: Arabic as a heritage language, as well as Arabic, French and Spanish as World Languages. Students meet with their teachers every other day for forty-five minutes. Students in Arabic heritage class are expected to communicate fluently in the target language while focusing on their language skills in the context of the Arab culture.
Arabic, French and Spanish World Language students are introduced to the new language through a variety of approaches such as songs, games, stories, and other age appropriate interactive activities that enable them to communicate and use the language.
