TAISM Thursday Learn To Swim Program

TAISM's Thursday Learn to Swim Program offers Absolute Beginner, Advanced Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Novice courses. The goal of the Learn to Swim Program is to offer students the opportunity to learn to swim with appropriate instructional methodology and to further their aquatic skills by utilizing weekend hours for educational purposes. Class sizes are limited to allow for quality instruction. Classes follow the American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program and guidelines.

Swim Program

This extracurricular swim program is an integral part of TAISM's activities program. The competition pool is 25 meters long. The shallow end has a depth of 1.4 meters, and the deep end is 1.96 meters. There is also a separate kiddie pool. The pools are supplied with up-to-date safety equipments and staffed by a swimming assitant, who is internationally certified for instruction and water safety. The aquatic staff strives to provide a safe and comprehensive swimming program for the entire TAISM community.

Recreational Swimming

Recreational Swimming allows all TAISM students and their families the opportunity to use the pool during community hours on Thursday afternoons.
