TAISM FESTIVAL OF CHOIRS

FEBRUARY 22-23, 2007

REGISTRATION AND DEADLINE INFORMATION

PLEASE PREPARE TO SEND US THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION THROUGH FAX OR EMAIL:

DUE ASAP, no later than November 1, 2006: Complete and return the Preliminary Registration Form. Music octavos and 1 rehearsal CD for each voice part will be mailed to each school by December 15. Directors will then distribute the music to their students and can burn a rehearsal CD for them.

Director and Participant Information * A template will be emailed to each director.

  • Registration Fees: ($55.00 U.S. per student) A check made payable to The American International School of Muscat. *All students registered as of this date will be expected to pay the registration fee.
  • Alphabetical roster of your participants (first and last names)
  • Names of adults/chaperones coming, and if they want to stay with a host family or in a hotel (at own expense)
  • Voice Part of each student
  • T-Shirt Size (Adult sizes: S M L XL)
  • Special needs (vegetarian, allergic to pets, etc.)
  • Pairing list for home stays. Include a trio if you have an odd number of boys/girls.
  • Your travel itinerary…plans for arrival/departure times.

  • Group Picture
  • Group and Director Biography
  • Titles, composer/arrangers of up to 2 songs your group will sing during the concert (optional)
  • Name of your accompanist if your choir is singing featured songs
  • Names of students/acts from your school interested in participating in the Festival Talent Show
DUE ON ARRIVAL : Remainder of required materials
  • A copy of everybody’s passport
  • Code of Conduct Forms (will be emailed to each director)
  • Emergency Contact/Health Forms (will be emailed to each director)

PLEASE email me if you have any questions. We are trying to make this as organized and hassle-free as possible. Also remember that dress for the grand finale concert is formal. Boys need to wear a dress shirt, tie and dark dress pants. Girls need to wear a black dress that covers the shoulders and is below the knees.
